Why I created BMOT...

After 25 years working within the NHS, I found myself at a crossroads.

The system was continuing to change — and I realised I was faced with two choices: either change my values to fit, or create a new environment where I could stay true to what I believe in. After working a year as an Independent OT and with a bit of a push from the ones I love, I created the BMOT way to enable me to do exactly that!

BMOT was born from a passion to keep occupational therapy real, person-centred, and driven by the independent goals of the individual and their families — not restricted by red tape, financial benefit or endless box-ticking.

It's about responding to challenges now, not waiting months for support.
It’s about creating pathways and treatments that truly engage the person, allowing creativity, flexibility, and 💚 in everything we do.

BMOT isn’t about chasing targets or becoming a millionaire — it’s about staying rooted in the traditional values that made me fall in love with occupational therapy in the first place: to help people, genuinely, from the 💚 (while also making a living doing what I love!).

Life isn't always what we plan and hope for, the path can sometimes be a little pebbly for our feet!  At BMOT, I feel truly blessed to be welcomed into people's lives.

Every journey is unique, and I’m honoured to walk alongside individuals and families as they work towards their goals and we address their needs to allow them to do this.

My focus is always on creating genuine, meaningful change — tailoring support that fits each person’s life, needs, and dreams, not the other way around.

At BMOT, it's about real and genuine connection, real progress, and making a real difference.
